In this day and age, it is actually very common to see stay at home husbands who would take care of all the domestic chores like the cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the children while the women are the ones who are working. Now the only problem here is that if this is the arrangement, then the man will most likely not have much human interaction. It is for this reason that there organizations such as a male wives club.
In any marriage, there would always be one partner who is more capable of being the breadwinner than the other one. In some cases, the woman would be the more capable of the two and would have a higher paying job which would be able to feed the family and the children. Now if the woman has a better pay than the man, it is actually only reasonable that the woman would bring in the money while the man would be the one who would stay at home.
As stated above, because of this arrangement, the men would not have much interaction with people outside. Having minimal interaction with friends and other people can be quite unhealthy to the growth of a person in general. This club will actually give the male wife a chance to be able to talk to people in the same situation as him.
Since all of the members pretty much do the same thing, then all of the members would most likely become friends in the process. This would help the stay at home men not be ashamed of what they do since there are others who can relate. There is actually still a stigma about men who do domestic work because of the whole patriarchal view of society.
Now this type of club would have an arrangement like any other type of club out there. There would be a team of leaders that would mediate the events and hold all of the meetings wherein decisions would be made. Basically, there would be a president, a treasurer, a vice president, and of course a secretary.
Now some of the activities that they would have would be some socializing events wherein the members can meet each other. There would also be parties with some food and of course drinks. Of course there are also times when they members would host events wherein the wives of the members would be invited for the bash.
Now aside from all the fun, these clubs also aim to help members. If one would need physical help with the housework or financial help, the members may actually help them. If one is going through a motivational problem, then the members will all be there for him.
So as one can see, this type of club is actually very significant to the lives of male wives. Now in this era, there are still those who look down on men who stay at home simply because it is a sissy job. However, these clubs would help those men not be ashamed of what they do because they are actually doing a good cause for their families.
